What is the difference in cord design that sets DEATHLESS cords above the competition?
See 'About' the clipcords. Standard clipcords and RCA cords use silicone wire or speaker wire. DEATHLESS CORDS are built with high quality instrument cable: hundreds of copper wires woven in a tightly braided pattern, fiber in the core, and a crush-proof rubber jacket.
Why should I modify my setup to accept RCA vs. using a spring clip adapter?
A standard spring tension clip consists of two contact prongs that fit into two posts on the back of the tattoo machine. Over time, the swinging action caused by these two connection points weakens the spring clip itself, while wearing down your clipcord (and machine), weakening the contact posts and causing wire breakage. The RCA plug is a straight connection and, therefore, does not have the same issues. It is direct-connect with no moving parts, enhancing its life-long performance and longevity.
What is the typical lifespan of DEATHLESS Clipcords compared to the competitors clipcord?
DEATHLESS Clipcords will generally last 3+ years without any show of wear or tear, from normal (often extreme) daily activity. A standard clipcord will last 3-6 months at best with daily use. Each end piece is filled with a high quality 3500psi epoxy resin and reinforced with heavy-duty military grade Kevlar/Neoprene heatshrink tubing. Every electrical connection point is permanently fixed into place. Each clipcord is tested to withstand a 250lb strength test and is guaranteed for 1 full year.
Does the added weight to the cord affect the artists performance?
The weight of DEATHLESS cords is surprisingly comfortable. Many artists are concerned with getting used to this added weight. Yes, the cord does weigh more than the typical light-weight (and flimsy) alternative. However, the weight is not noticeable enough to affect your performance as an artist and is commonly preferred to aid in balancing the tattoo machine while in use. Nothing compares.

Is the fabric coating safe to use in the tattoo industry?
Each cord is triple stain guarded to add a level of resistance to moisture absorption which creates bacteria. A clipcord sleeve should always be used for sanitary purposes, since micro spray is found to travel up to 10 feet during a tattoo session.
